Laura Hari ist eine Meisterin der scharfen Beobachtung und exakten Wiedergabe in Wort und Bild, vielseitig und fantasievoll. Sie wurde 1982 in Brandenburg an der Havel geboren.Hauptberuflich arbeitet sie als Ärztin in der Psychiatrie, daneben als Autorin, Künstlerin und Illustratorin. Die promovierte Medizinerin hat mit drei Kinderbüchern auf sich aufmerksam gemacht: Der Tag, an dem ein Delphin-Zebra-Schmetterling vom Papier verschwand und Malon Meerpol – Mayapán und Finja Fenchel Titanwurz – Die Reise auf dem Wolkenpferd. In Zusammenarbeit mit Nicolai Tegeler hat sie das Hörspiel „Gerda, die mutige Giraffe“ für Siemens Healthineers geschrieben. Aktuell liegt ihr kreativer Fokus auf dem Schreiben von Kinder- und Jugendbüchern. Als Autorin schreibt sie vor allem Urban Fantasy – ein Genre, das Magie und fantastische Wesen in unsere moderne, reale Welt integriert.
Laura Hari studierte Freie/Bildende Kunst mit dem Schwerpunkt Malerei/Zeichnung an der Universität der Künste Berlin (2009 Meisterschülerin von Prof. Frank Badur) und Humanmedizin an der Charité in Berlin.

Laura Hari is a master of sharp observation and precise expression in both words and images—versatile and imaginative. She was born in 1982 in Brandenburg an der Havel. Professionally, she works as a psychiatrist, while also pursuing work as an author, artist andillustrator. The physician with a doctorate has attracted attention with three children’s books: The Day a Dolphin-Zebra-Butterfly disappeared from the Paper, Malon Meerpol – Mayapán, and Finja Fenchel Titanwurz – The Journey on the Cloud Horse. In collaboration with Nicolai Tegeler she wrote the radio play Gerda, the brave Giraffe for Siemens Healthineers. Her current creative focus lies in writing children’s and young adult books. As an author, she primarily writes urban fantasy — a genre, that integrates magic and fantastical creaturesinto our modern, real world.
Laura Hari studied Fine Arts with a focus on painting/drawing at the Berlin University of theArts (master student of Prof. Frank Badur in 2009) and Human Medicine at the Charité in Berlin.
