Dorkas Kiefer steht seit über 35 Jahren erfolgreich auf der Bühne, vor der Kamera und am Mikrofon. Ihre Leidenschaft für Musik, Gesang und Tanz führte sie nach dem Abitur zunächst ans Gießener Stadttheater und anschließend auf Bühnen in Münster und Wien. Dort spielte sie u. a. in der Rockoper „JFK“, „Little Shop of Horrors“ und „Im Weißen Rössl“.

1996 begann ihre Karriere in Film,Fernsehen und Synchron. Zu ihren Kinoarbeiten zählen u.a. „Aimée & Jaguar“, „Siegfried“, „Charleys Tante“ und „So viel Zeit“. Darüber hinaus war sie in zahlreichen erfolgreichen TV-Produktionen zu sehen.

Auch musikalisch ist Dorkas Kiefer vielseitig: 1994 erreichte sie mit MeKaDo beim Grand Prix de la Chanson (heutigen Eurovision Song Contest)in Dublin den 3. Platz für Deutschland. Im Jahr 2000 tourte sie als Gast-Sängerin mit Udo Lindenberg und dem Babelsberger Filmorchester durch Deutschland.

Seit 2009 ist sie auch regelmäßig auf renommierten Theaterbühnen in Deutschland und Österreich zu erleben. Zu ihren aktuellen Bühnenrollen gehören u. a. ‚Claire’ in „Nein zum Geld“ von Flavia Coste, ‚Boots‘ in Woody Allens Erstaufführung „Neurosengarten“ , ‚Emmi Rothner’ in Daniel Glatthauers „Gut gegen Nordwind“ und in der Neuinzenierung des JEDERMANNS‚die ,Buhlschaft‘ bei den Regensburger Festspielen, sowie den ‚Teufel‘ und ‚Armen Nachbarn‘ u.a. in Bayreuth, Weimar und Graz.

Dorkas Kiefer has been successfully performing on stage, in front of the camera, and behind the microphone for more than 35 years. Her passion for music, singing, and dancing first led her to the Giessen City Theatre after graduating from high school, and subsequently to stages in Münster and Vienna. There, she performed in productions including the rock opera “JFK,” “Little Shop of Horrors,” and “Im Weißen Rössl.”

In 1996, she began her career in film, television, and dubbing. Her film credits include “Aimée & Jaguar,” “Siegfried,” “Charley’s Aunt,” and “So viel Zeit.” She has also appeared over the years in numerous successful television productions.

Dorkas Kiefer is equally versatile as a musician. In 1994, she represented Germany at the Grand Prix de la Chanson (now the Eurovision Song Contest) in Dublin with MeKaDo, finishing in third place. In 2000, she toured through Germany as a guest singer with Udo Lindenberg and the Babelsberg Film Orchestra.

Since 2009, she has also regularly appeared on renowned theatre stages in Germany and Austria. Her recent stage roles include ‚Claire’ in “Nein zum Geld” by Flavia Coste, ‚Boots‘ in the World Premiere of Woody Allen’s “Neurosengarten,” ‚Emmi Rothner‘ in Daniel Glattauer’s “Gut gegen Nordwind” and in the new production of “Jedermann” the role of the ’Buhlschaft’ at the Regensburger Festspiele and beside other cities the ‚Teufel’ and the ‚Armer Nachbar‘ in Bayreuth, Weimar, and Graz.
